I love when I receive pretty things in the mail!
A couple of weeks ago I ordered some quilt labels; being busy with other things in life, I had completely forgotten all about them until I opened my mailbox today and saw a brown envelope labeled "Sweetwater Label-Crew".
"YES!" And just in time too, because I have finished my "Little Pokes" quilt and am ready to quilt and bind it.
These labels are great. They are iron on labels that are from Sweetwater. Yes, that's right Sweetwater. The same people that designed the new "Hometown" collection that I am dying to get my hands on when it comes out in August. They have a fantastic online store where you can get all sorts of labels and gifts (here) and don't forget to check out their blog (here). If you have not already noticed, I am a big fan of these ladies. They are very talented indeed!
If I had children I would be eating these up...
These are from their "Animal Cracker" collection. HOW CUTE!!!

The new fabric line by Sweetwater is fabulous!!! It is called Hometown. I love the color palette. I must say that the moment I saw the rich red color, I fell in love... I cannot wait for this line to be available to the public. I am also excited to get my hands on some of the canvas prints that they have too.
I finished one of my baby quilts last week. I used a flannel giraffe print for the back and binding. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of the quilting I did on it. I did a loop free motion quilt on it. Now that I am back from vacation I am ready to quilt the teal, purple and
grey quilt and finish my little poke quilt.
