Unexpected Baby Quilt

My most recent quilt was made quite unexpectedly... At the beginning of the week I got an invitation to a baby shower that I was not really anticipating, since I really don't know the lady that is pregnant. However, I knew that I could piece together a baby quilt pretty quickly. I pieced this together in a day, unfortunately I am kind of at a stand still because I need some brown thread and I currently do not have any in my thread stash. I should have my thread tomorrow and will then be able to quilt and bind it. I hope you like it... 

I think it turned out pretty darn cute...

I also hope to finish my Little Pokes quilt by the end of this week. I will post pictures of the finished products as soon I can.
